Description
Sodium Coco-Sulfate is a top-quality anionic surfactant that comes in fine noodle form. Its primary application is as a high-performance foaming agent in personal cleansing products. Made from sulfated vegetal alcohols, Sodium Coco-Sulfate is at least 94% pure Sodium Coco-Sulfate.
Compared to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Coco-Sulfate is unique in that it retains higher molecular weight fatty acids that are naturally present in the vegetable oil, which results in denser, creamier foam and a translucent appearance. This makes it an excellent choice for those looking for a richer and more luxurious cleansing experience.
It’s highly recommended to wear a dust mask when handling Sodium Coco-Sulfate as inhaling it can be extremely unpleasant. However, there are various ways to incorporate surfactants into different formulations. For liquid concoctions, surfactants can be dissolved into the heated water phase. Alternatively, you can mix the powder into a blend of butters and/or other surfactants to create syndet bars. Surfactants can also be added to the powder phase of bath bombs and other bath products.
